Error code: 000451: The address locator cannot be rebuilt as it was created using a release of ArcGIS previous to ArcGIS 9.2.
Description: The address locator you tried to rebuild was created with ArcGIS prior to version 9.2. Rebuilding an address locator on this pre-9.2 locator is not supported.
Solution: Create a new address locator using ArcGIS version 9.2 or higher. Rebuilding this locator will then be supported.

Error code: 000455: Reference scale must be specified
Description: ArcGIS needs to know the reference scale in order to display features at the proper size.
Solution: Specify a value to be used as the reference scale.

Error code: 000456: Reference data is not in a geodatabase
Description: The reference data for the address locator is not in a geodatabase.
Solution: Make sure the reference data is in a geodatabase. Import the data into the geodatabase if necessary.

Error code: 000457: The locator attached to the geocoded feature class is not valid.
Description: The geocoded feature class cannot be rematched because the attached address locator is not valid. The attached locator refers to the locator that was used for matching the address table. The locator may be missing due to a broken path.
Solution: Rebuild the attached address locator and then rematch the geocoded feature class.

Error code: 000458: Rematch operation failed.
Description: Rematching the geocoded feature class cannot be completed. There may be problems with the attached address locator or geocoded feature class.
Solution: Make sure the address locator is valid.

Error code: 000459: Couldn't open geocoded feature class.
Description: There are problems opening the geocoded feature class.
Solution: Check if the geocoded feature class is valid.

Error code: 000460: Couldn't get attached locator from the geocoded feature class.
Description: There is no attached address locator in the geocoded feature class. The geocoded feature class cannot be rematched.
Solution: Geocode the address table again to create a new geocoded feature class. An attached address locator will be stored in the geocoded feature class.

Error code: 000461: Repaired feature <value> because of <value>
Description: A geometry problem was identified and fixed in the feature with the OjectdID listed.
Solution: For a more detailed explanation of possible problems with feature geometry and how they are fixed, see the documentation for the Check Geometry and Repair Geometry tools.

Error code: 000463: Not a GPSAGeoData type
Description: The specified input data is not of the expected type.
Solution: Check the tool documentation and ensure that you are using the correct type of data for input.

Error code: 000464: Cannot get exclusive schema lock. Either being edited or in use by another application.
Description: More than one user may be reading and editing the same data at the same time. To be able to work with your data, the application must be able to assume that the schema is fixed and is not changing at any time that you are working with its contents.
Solution: Check that you are exclusively using and editing your dataset. The most common cause of a schema lock is displaying a dataset in ArcMap while you attempt to work with the data in another application. Learn more about rules for working with schema locks.

Error code: 000465: <value> does not match the schema of previous inputs
Description: If Schema Type parameter is set as TEST then input feature classes or tables must have the same schema.
Solution: Make sure all of the input feature classes or tables have the same attribute schemas. If the schemas are not the same, you may set the Schema Type parameter to NO_TEST, so only those fields and their values within the input(s) that match fields within the target dataset are used. See the Append tool for a more detailed explanation.

Error code: 000466: <value> does not match the schema of target <value>
Description: If Schema Type is selected as TEST then schemas of input feature classes must match the schema of the target feature class.

Error code: 000468: Input shape types are not equal
Description: The type of feature geometries of the inputs must be identical. All feature classes involved in the process must have matching geometries. So they must all be points, or all line, or all polygon feature classes.
Solution: For Merge, review the list of inputs and verify that they all have matching geometry types.
For Append review the list of inputs as well as the target and verify that they all have matching geometry types.

Error code: 000469: Input shape type are not equal to target
Description: All input feature classes must have the same feature geometries (point, polygon, polylines) as the target feature class.
Solution: Make sure the feature geometry of all input feature classes are the same before running Append.

Error code: 000472: Name of single band grid cannot have more than 13 characters
Description: The name of a grid file has a limit of 13 characters, if it contains more than 13 characters, the grid can not be created
Solution: Specify a name with 13 or fewer characters

Error code: 000474: Spatial reference must be specified
Description: ArcGIS needs to know the spatial reference of features in order to display them in the proper location.
Solution: Specify a spatial reference for the feature class.

Error code: 000475: Positive search radius required for match option NEAREST
Description: The search radius must be distance greater than 0. A distance of 0 or a negative distances are not valid.
Solution: Enter a valid distance value in the search radius parameter. See the Near tool's documentation for more information.
