You can add layers with 3D graphics to ArcGlobe, and then add new 3D graphics to them.

To add a 3D graphics layer, click the Add Data button. Browse to the Exercise9\GeoDatabase folder. Double-click the Street Objects layer to add it to ArcGlobe.

Click View, point to Bookmarks, and click Street View.

To add graphics to the layer, click the Graphics menu on the 3D Graphics toolbar, point to Active Graphics Layer Target, then click Street Objects Layer. On the Graphics toolbar, click New Marker.

Click to add a marker in front of each of the first three cars as shown here. You will need to click the New Marker tool for each new marker.

Next, assign each marker a 3D graphic symbol from the Street Furniture symbol style. Click the Select Graphics tool and click the first marker. A selected marker will change color.

Right-click the selected marker and click Properties. Click Change Symbol. Click More Symbols to verify that 3D Street Furniture is checked. If not, click 3D Street Furniture to add this style. Click the Category drop-down list and click Street Scene. Click the tc1 symbol. Click OK on the Symbol Selector dialog box. Click OK on the Properties dialog box.

You could repeat these steps to symbolize the other point markers using one of the available 3D styles.

To save your changes, right-click the Street Objects Layer in the Table of Contents and click Save As Layer File. Navigate to Exercise9\GeoDatabase, select the Street Objects layer file, and click Save. Click Yes if prompted to overwrite the existing file.

The new markers you created are stored in the Street Objects layer.
