In this segment you will see how to symbolize point features with 3D symbols.

To do so, right-click Street_Lights in the Table of Contents and click Properties. You can also open the Properties dialog box by double-clicking the layer.

Click the Symbology tab and click Categories. ArcGlobe automatically selects the Unique values option. Click the Value Field drop-down arrow and click MODEL. Click Add All Values. This adds all unique values to the list. You can also click the Add values button to choose specific Model values to display.

Double-click the symbol for stlght13. Click More Symbols in the Symbol Selector dialog box, then click 3D Street Furniture. Click the Category drop-down list and click Street Scene. Only those symbols in the Street Furniture style are listed, so that you don't have to scroll through all visible symbols in the Selector list. Click the stlght13 symbol. Type "8" in the Size text box. Click OK.

Double-click the symbol for stlght7. Repeat the previous steps to assign stlght7 another street light symbol.

Click Advanced in the Layer properties dialog box and click Rotation. Click the Rotate Points by Angle in this field drop-down list and click Angle. Click OK. Click OK on the Layer Properties dialog box when you have finished.
