In the Error Inspector, the Visible Extent check box controls whether all errors in the topology are reported, or just the ones in the current map extent.

You can use the error inspector to search for errors of a given type, or all types.

You can pan to or zoom to selected errors in the Error Inspector by right-clicking them and choosing Pan To or Zoom To from the context menu.

Once you've reviewed the errors in a topology, the next step is to begin fixing them.
