Top  Previous  Next

There are four main steps to geocode an address interactively using alternative street names. First add the reference data that you want to match the address against. Second, open the Find dialog box and choose the address locator that you want to use. Third, type the address, using one of the alternative street names in the in the Find dialog box and click Find. Candidate locations appear in a table on the Find dialog box and you can add them to the map (or Flash, Zoom to, Pan to, Create bookmarks for them, among other things). Finally, add the best match candidate to the map.
