Usage tips
- If the output is a feature class inside a feature dataset, the environment will be ignored, as all feature classes inside a feature dataset must have the same Z domain.
- If the Z Resolution environment is set as well as the Z Domain environment, the resolution value is used in combination with the domain's minimum value.
- It is recommended that you use the Z Resolution in conjunction with the Z Domain environment to avoid creating a dataset with extremely small resolution value. Extremely small resolution value can lead to a deterioration of performance.
- The keyword used at the command line or in scripts for this environment setting is ZDomain.
