One of the simplest ways of changing the shape of a feature is to use the Modify Feature edit task to move individual vertices of the feature.

In this example you see how to select a feature, switch to the Modify Feature edit task, and drag a vertex of a feature to a new location. You can also use the Reshape Feature edit task to replace a section of a feature with a new edit sketch.
