Geoprocessing

Segment 5 of 16

Top  Previous  Next

Geoprocessing settings include environment settings, the state of the ArcToolbox window, and variables you have created at the command line. These settings are saved in ArcMap when you save a map document. There are times when you want to switch between applications, have different settings for different projects, or use the default settings. In these cases you can save the geoprocessing settings by right-clicking the ArcToolbox window and clicking Save Settings. The default settings or saved settings in a file can be loaded at any time by right-clicking the ArcToolbox window and clicking Load Settings.

Click File on the Main menu and click Save As. Click the Save in dropdown arrow and navigate to your GP_Tutorial folder. Type “Habitat_Analysis.mxd” for the filename and click Save.
