The logging behavior of your ArcGIS Server can be configured and managed from Manager itself. To get to the log page, click 'view log' from in the left panel of Manager's Home page, or click on the GIS Server tab in Manager and select 'Log Files' in the left panel of the GIS Server page. This will bring you to the Server Activity Log page.

From here, you can alter the way you server's activity is reported.

Changing the log file properties

Click the Log Properties link. You can set the following properties:

Managing the log file columns to be displayed

Click the Manage Columns link. You can check on or off the columns you want to be displayed or supressed in the log file message. Click the Save button to apply the changes and return to the Server Activity Log page.

Filtering the log file messages for displayed

You may choose to constrain the display of log file messages for some specific analysis of the server's behavior. This could be useful if, for example, you are only interested in viewing the logging pertaining to a specific server configuration.
