The Tasker.properties file contains the defaults for ArcIMS Tasker. Tasker is used to remove files on a user-defined basis. The property file is located at:
Windows: <ArcGIS Installation Directory>\ArcIMS\AppServer\Tasker
UNIX and Linux: $AIMSHOME/Middleware/Tasker
This file defines the following properties:
registryHost=AIMSHOST
Name of the computer on which the ArcIMS Tasker is running.
registryHost=AIMSHOST
Name of the computer on which the ArcIMS Application Server is running.
registryPort=5353
The ArcIMS Application Server port on which the ArcIMS Monitor, ArcIMS Tasker, and ArcIMS Spatial Servers register. For more information, see Configuring ArcIMS ports.
listenerPort=5060
The port used for communication between the ArcIMS Application Server and Tasker. For more information, see Configuring ArcIMS ports.
debug=False
Setting the debug value to True turns on the Tasker debug logging that contains all Tasker communications. Logging can be either to a console window or to file. To view in file format, you must also set the logToFile property to True. On Windows, to view the status in a console window, check that the ArcIMS Tasker service has the "Allow Service to Interact with Desktop" setting enabled. For more information, see Enabling full verbose logging.
logToFile=False
Setting the logToFile value to True writes the ArcIMS Monitor debug logging to a file. A log file named Tasker_XXXXXXXXX.log is written to the log directory under the Tasker directory. For more information, see Enabling full verbose logging.
