The Editing tab is used to specify editing preferences that are not commonly used.

Set Z to zero when moving features

When checked, ArcPad will set elevation or z-values to zero if a feature or vertex is manually moved. When unchecked, ArcPad will keep the z-values unchanged if a feature or vertex is manually moved.

The default is unchecked.
