ArcPad enables you to create segmented polyline features. With the Segment Polyline button activated, any new polyline feature you create begins at the end of your previously selected line feature. This capability is very useful for capturing line features in succession that may have different attributes. For example, using the Segment polyline feature you can easily capture a continuous road that has been segmented based on its pavement conditions. This tool is only available on the Polyline feature type.
