Selecting features for editing using the Select tool

  1. Select the layer for editing in the Start/Stop Editing tool drop-down list—as described in the previous task.
  2. Tap the Select button.

  3. Tap the feature that you want to select for editing.

    The selected feature is highlighted using the specified highlight color (cyan) and with a rectangle using a dashed line, outlining the geographic extent of the feature.
  4. Tap the Clear Selected Feature button located on the drop-down list under the Select tool to clear the selected feature.
