Starting ArcPad on a desktop PC

  1. Click Start on the Windows taskbar.
  2. Click All Programs.
  3. Click ArcGIS.
  4. Click ArcPad 8.0
  5. Click ArcPad 8.0 for Windows.

    You will see the ArcPad splash screen briefly, and ArcPad will open with the Open Map dialog box.
