Open an existing ArcPad map from the Open Map dialog box

  1. On the ArcPad Open Map dialog box, select from the list of available maps. ArcPad displays a list of previously used maps and data.
  2. Use your devices file brower to browse for an existing map or data.

  3. Add individual layers to an empty map.
  4. Opens the QuickProject dialog, and you can create a ready to use data capture project.
  5. Toggles between the recently used maps and available maps.
  6. Open the Add Data from Server dialog, you can add ArcGIS Server ArcPad Services or ArcIMS Services here.

  7. Tapping OK starts ArcPad with the selected map.

  8. Tapping close starts ArcPad with an empty new map.
