42319: When the thumbnail in metadata is not found, an empty image displays in the search result/details page.
41416: Some CS-W endpoints do not indicate the maximum hits a search request generates (e.g. ArcIMS 9.1, 9.2 CS-W endpoints). For these endpoints, the next page will be added to the pagination automatically when the records displayed are equal to the maximum records on the page. For example, if current page = 1 and the page has 10 records, then page 2 will be shown in the pagination area and maximum records of 11 will also be shown. Since we never know when the last page will be reached, pressing the last button results in the last known page being displayed.
42855: Metadata with footprints that wrap around the 180 line will show up properly in the search results page and metadata details page, and can be entered in the metadata editing form. However, search and spatial ranking will not account for the split footprints.
NIM050339: Maps (Search map and Data Download map) do not pan properly in Internet Explorer if JS API version is 1.5 and the image type is set to "PNG24". The Javascript API 1.5 does not support the PNG24 format, so the image type is set to JPEG in the geoportal by default.
46485: When you copy and paste the example Flex viewer (including the hash mark (3)) the browser throws an error and is stuck in an endless loop. To copy and paste the URL the hash mark needs to be removed.
NIM051104: JavaScript API 1.5: dynamic maps within a nested table are shown offset in Internet Explorer 8 interface on Windows Server 2008 64 bit. The structure of the Geoportal web application's jsp pages is basically a table within a table, with the JS API map in a div. When the map within the div is set to dynamic (not tiled) in this nested table structure and viewed in Internet Explorer 8 on a Windows 2008 Server 64 bit environment, the entire map appears to be aligned to the upper left corner. Other display issues include:
"Search" button is misplaced.
When you expand description on search results and move to another page, the description area gets expanded and goes beyond its page boundary to right.
47306: ArcGIS Online Directed Search allows users to choose Live Data and extent for a search criteria, but these are not supported by ArcGIS Online search.
Publishing
40882: When publishing metadata for an ArcGIS Server 9.3.1 Layer Package, the URL to the Layer package or Package Info document needs to include the extension (lpk or pkinfo) for it to be recognizable as such.
43280: Metadata Editor does not support linking multiple records, for example a service or series (one record) that is part of a dataset (another record).
42150: Default schema for metadata created from an OGC service upload is Dublin Core. Dublin Core is the default because many OGC services do not have extensive metadata (barely more than title). This can be easily configured to point to ISO 19119.
43281: When publishing services (individual or servers recursively) through the Upload page or Publish Client, services are not updated as services themselves are updated. The publisher user needs to manually republish the service through upload if its definition has been updated. Note: the geoportal can be configured for certain ArcGIS Servers to be automatically updated. See Section 8 in the Geoportal extension Installation Guide for details.
Harvesting
37186: Harvesting Service log file has a GMT timestamp.
39101: CS-W harvest for catalogs using the Geonetwork OGCCORE profile cannot be searched by the Modified parameter.
