The esriadmin.properties file specifies default settings for Service Administrator. You only need to update this file if you need to change the Application Server or port number references. If you make modifications to this file, you must restart your Web server and servlet engine.

You can also change these properties using the Application Server Information dialog of the ArcIMS Configuration step in the post installation.

The following properties can be changed:

appserver_host=ARCIMSHOST

The name of the machine on which the ArcIMS Application Server is running. The machine specified during the post installation process is used by default.

appserver_port=5300

The ArcIMS Application Server port number. The port number specified during the post installation process is used by default. For more information, see Configuring ArcIMS ports.
