Animations make a 3D document come alive by storing actions so they can be replayed. They can help you visualize changes, such as perspective and geographical movements. Animations are created in ArcGlobe by the map publisher.
If an animation has been saved in your document, you can view it by clicking View and clicking Animations. The Animation control panel will appear. Animations the publisher has saved with the map will be displayed in a drop-down list on the control panel.
In this example the animation shows a flight from orbit to the Angelus Oaks area. The animation may need to be run several times to improve the overall smoothness with which it displays. As more data is cached, the display performance will improve.
