Set Folder Properties

You can use the Folder Properties dialog to set a view for the folder.

Every folder that you add to the Contents window has two elements associated with it, the location and height of an observer and the location and height of a target. As you navigate over the map, you implicitly adjust the folder's view. You can set the observer and target position associated with a folder by clicking Set View.

If you've established a view for your folder, when you double-click it in the Contents window the map will display the view associated with the folder, regardless of any views associated with the items it contains.
