You can add vertices to a network link and apply the changes to an overlapping link.

Zoom in to the highlighted overlapping links that have been separated.

Click the Add Vertex tool. Click and drag a point on one of the separated links to create a new vertex on that link. Repeat the operation to create several vertices on that link.

Click the Select Schematic Elements tool and select that modified link. Click the Layout Task list and click Separate Ovelapping Links.

Click the Layout Algorithm Properties button to open the Schematic Layout Algorithm Properties dialog box. Check the Use origin links option. Click OK.

The selected link is used as a reference link for the algorithm execution. The algorithm copies the vertices that are displayed along that link on the second link that connects the same origin and extremity nodes, and separates the two links.

Cancel the schematic link selection. Click the Clear Trace Task Result tool to remove the highlight.

Click the Layout Task drop-down list and click Restore Saved Positions. Click Apply Layout Task.

The schematic reverts to its last saved form.
